Banded Agate

Called the earth rainbow, Agate forms in nearly every color.  In ancient times it was worn to guard from danger and to vanquish obstacles, such as high winds and lightning, and was believed to protect children from falling, and to give it's holder strength, courage and the ability to heal fear.  Seafarers used Agate amulets to protect them from the fury of the sea.  Generally, Agate is known for it's stabilizing and strengthening influence.  It is excellent for balancing energy promoting composure, inner stability, and maturity while encouraging security and self-confidence.  Agates are Seeker-Transfomer crystals.
