Jet

Jet is a fossilized wood, close in comparison to coal but harder.  This stone can be used to dispel fearful thoughts and can be used to protect the wearer against illness and violence.  It protects one during the pursuit of business and enhances the stability of ones finances.  Jet is also known to align the base chakra and stimulatess the awakening of the kundalini.  When placed on areas of the upper body it enables movement of kundalini towards the crown.  It is also a calming agent, providing dim in depression.  It has been used in the treatment of migraine headaches, epilepsy, glandular and lymphatic swelling, stomach pains and colds.
